  • I am highly disappointed in how badly my sons performance, not academically, but socially has fallen at this school. He is not encouraged, nor treated fairly. He previously attended Hawthorne Elementary where he not only excelled in academics but also socially as he was treated fairly and equally. I have found Dora Erickson to have LOTS of corruption by the staff favoring children of parents who attend their same church etc. There was NONE of this at Hawthorne. My son used to be student of the week regularly. Now, he hasn't sang in a choir play or put on any other kinds of shows ALL year long! This school is exceptional at only one thing, and that is at creating criminals through their social abuse. I am sick that I cannot talk to the staff, they simply only hear what they would like to. They don't like facts and don't like truth, it is a HORRIBLE place to send ANY child. Unless of course, you're "in" their church.
