  • I have to agree with Parent/Guardian 10/3/07 and 10/24/10. The school seems to put more value on after hour activites than it does on education. I was a student there myself years ago, and it was the same then, very much clique oriented with whoevers parents having the most the important people at the schools.

  • I absolutely agree with Parent/Guardian of Oct. 03, 2007, except the high school in this district has slipped considerably in the last 3 years. It is not a reflection as much on the teachers or administration as on the values of the community. This community does not value education as much as it values extra-curricular activities. The schools are still relatively safe. However, I would not choose to educate my children in this environment.

  • Average school in average community where most residents (parents & students) appear to be more concerned about football/cheer leading than about academics. Challenging academics are limited, but there are some exceptions such as college level algebra, advanced history, and advanced chemistry. There are limited opportunities in foreign languages, mainly Spanish and French. Art and music classes are available but on a very limited basis as compared to other area schools. Although a lot of cliqueness exists in this community as reflected in the school, students can find their own niche. This school is a relatively safe environment in an average to lower average socioeconomic community.
