  • VERY unhappy with the notification practices in the pre-k & kindergarten classes... I have had 2 children go to central park and both have had issues with other kids in their class teasing & starting fights with them however I was NOT notified about ANY issues until the parent teacher conference. EVEN AFTER REQUESTING TO BE NOTIFIED THE SAME DAY SEVERAL TIMES! My boys were in a SMALL class of just 14 kids with 2 teachers in the class so it was obviously NOT a case of too many students to too few teachers. Even after speaking to Mrs. Ameren (the principal) we STILL were not notified of future issues. Came to a point where I went in and demanded to speak with the teacher AND the principal at the same time and STILL no results. I have pulled my children out and would STRONGLY recommend if you can keep your children OUT of this school DO!
