  • This school frowned upon individuality and thrived upon blind tradition. Conformity was encouraged and athletes were praised above all. It's been a long time, but if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have attended this school. There were a few exceptions, one being the excellent AP English teacher Beverly Gilbert. If you or your child is at all "quirky" look elsewhere. If he or she is your typical preppie jock, they will probably love it.
