  • i think that Richland deserves a B because the lunches are not good, passing time is to short, the field trips are not good except the eight graders field trip, but the education is partly good.

  • The Asst Principal, now principal of the Elem School had her Masters Degree at the time she was hired as principal. The candidates were interviewed by 3 separate groups: adm, staff and parents and she was unanimous decision. If one understood the process they would know the principal does not hire/fire staff, that is the school board and only the school board.
The district is changing and growing and even with that it has above avg standardized test scores, a great leadership group and excellent staff ( by design not be accident)

  • This school uses politics as their stature to judge and measure others. Their Vice Principle was by no means qualified to be the V.P. She didn't even have her Masters Degree when she got hired. She was best friends with the principle, so obviously, she got in that way. She is a natural control freak & pushed several teachers out b/c she had personal "issues" with them outside of work, even THOUGH they were excellent teachers and had some of the highest testing scores that school had ever seen.....If you stay long enough and tap you toes into the mud for even a moment, you'll see the underhanding that is going on and the leadership abuse.....its sick.
