  • This is a great school. It is small, personalized, hands-on whenever possible, has high standards, and my teen is happy and engaged there. The international trip every winter is a highlight for everyone. This year it will be Guatemala and Belize, so the kids are studying Spanish. I recommend this school for anyone, but especially a teen who is bored or just doesn't fit in at a large or public school.

Not for students that don’t want to excel in school

My son is 15 and he loves going to school! That was not the case with public school, he always complained how he wasn’t learning anything. Not anymore.
Both his mom and I are so impressed with Explorations, I did not know High School could be this great. If you want your child to thrive in school give Explorations Academy a try

  • This school has been a great place for my son. He has found meaningful academic challenges, dynamic teachers who truly care about him, and opportunities to make learning relevant through field outings and international expeditions. I think it is a terrific school for highly capable kids.
