(1 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - My son is now attending his 2nd year,currently in 1st grade at fairview. Yesterday his teacher pulled him out of his math lesson and took him to be counseled by the principal and herself. She called me to notify me after the incident and I was left very concerned. Her demeanor over the phone was irate and she provided no options or resolutions. The reason she took my son out of class was because he did not complete the lesson because he did not understand it. He came home very upset and is not looking forward to school. My son is struggling in certain areas and it's very concerning for a school to vent about a 1st grader not being at grade level in such a discouraging way. It seems as if he is more a burden to the teacher and principal.

- Not that great of a Principal. Clearly had favorites and it was very obvious. Was interested in and focused on material items for school and self.
