I currently attend WCHS and I think so far it's alright like the comment posted above this one, and really you don't have a choice. Moving isn't cheap! $$$

I WENT TO THIS SCHOOL AND SO IS MY DAUGHTER. YOU ALL DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL SO JUST SHUT UP. AND IF PEOPLE ARE READING ARTICLES FROM MARTINSVILLE NEWSPAPERS THEN THAT IN IT SELF EXPLAINS THEIR STUPIDITY.

I used to go to this school. It's not the worst, but not the best either. Education is the main priority, and there are no gangs (that I knew of), minimal violence, over all, it's pretty good in terms of fighting. Bullying is still an issue, but that won't be solved any time soon, and also I found some of the teachers disrespectful towards the students; practicing favortism, and just being unfair in general. Decent school, but it's got it's cons like everything else.

I have two daughters and we live just outside of Whiteland. I recently read a newspaper article about how the school newspaper was allowed to write a story about one of the students, a rape victim. The school article made jokes about her,saying that she had the worst reputation in the school and even implying that she was involved in bestiality. This is not the environment in which I would want my children to attend high school.
The article can be found in the Martinsville Reporter-Times issued on Sunday, October 7, 2007.
