  • If you wish to be an active parent do not expect this to happen here. The teaching staff couldn't care less about helping the students if it takes too much effort on their part. In the three and a half years my child was there not ONCE did a teacher contact me for good OR bad. And NO conferences. I had to continually leave VM's and send emails to get any information. And replies didn't come for over a week each time. And by then your student is in need of even more help. This is not an isolated incident. After removing my child from the school I was made aware of multiple other students who had the same problems, including a student who was encouraged to drop out and just get a GED! Please! Dont let your student have their education set back by this unconcerned teaching staff!

  • This school's Asst. Principal Mr. Christopher Stroud, Mrs. Dunham and school security is notorious for discrimination and harrassment. They have a problem with applying their own rules and regulations on who they suspend or expel according the childs ethnicity. Ms. Dunham has no integrity, will lie in your face and change the story up when she is called on it. According to the research I have done this is not a new problem. GILBERT DISTRICT, you need to pull this administration's act together, IMMEDIATELY!

  • My sister used to struggle alot in school. Ever since she started attending Desert Ridge, she has done so much better and is recieving A's and B's. The teachers at the school have shown such care and concern to her and other students. Every school needs that. Now she comes home happy everyday talking about how great school was. She used to come home mad everyday at her old school. Thank you so much.
