  • I'm a sixth grader here at IS24 and i really like it here. The classes are challenging but the teachers know not to move too fast. Mr. Burrero (sorry if i spelled it wrong) is strict but keeps things fun, like rewarding the sixth grade class with the yacht trip! i really like it here

  • I am 11 yrs old and I attend IS24. I am in the 6th grade SP Honors class. It is a great school! The teachers are very friendly and helpful. Mr.Borerro is a great AP as well as Mr.Santamaria as our Principal. It's a lot of work but the teachers try to make it as understandable and as fun as possible. I highly recommend this school! So far, I'm having a great time and I can't wait for the 6th grade trip coming up, we're going on a yacht!

  • Just recently moved to the area and now IS24 has become the zoned school for my 11yrd daughter who is going to be atteding this school for the first time in sixth grade. I'm so happy to hear good reports about the school, it makes me feel more comfortable knowing my daughter is going to a highly recommended JHS. Thanks for your good work that has been noticed through out the many years!!
