  • George Washington High School is a wonderful example of top notch public education. The school offers a broad range of academic programs from special education to the highest number of Advanced Placement courses available in the state of Iowa. The school has very competitive music and arts programs along with very strong athletics. It has a nationally recognized debate program. The school counts as one of it's strengths the great ehtnic and religious diversity. In a supportive and positive environment, this ability to harness the strength of diversity makes the spirit of this school unbeatable. Add a (...) with true leadership and vision and you have a fantastic place.
