  • I've taught at West the last 13 years and will be retiring in January 2010. it has been a wonderful place to teach. The student population is diverse enough to be interesting and expose all students to other cultures. The faculty is professional and student centered, putting the academic, social and emotional needs of the students first. All adults strive to connect with students, from the kitchen and custodial staff to the administrative staff. The prime objective of the faculty and staff is to help students become well rounded human beings capable of independent learning and individual civic and social responsibility. it has been an honor to teach at West Middle School.
