- I have been spending time in Cheney as a substitute teacher since the school year began. I can't remember the last time I saw a school district as well organized and as well disciplined as I have seen in your district. I believe the last time I saw a school district like this was the district I grew up in.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet caring teachers and, most of all, fine young people! I am proud to know that my grandchildren will be growing up in this environment!
