Mr. Wright and Ms. Pickert are the best at what they do and are concerned about the kids. Mr. Wright is a no non sense person that will work with people and Ms. Pickert's experience is one of the best. As far as the teachers; most of them are willing to work with the kids but like every job you do have a few bad apples.
The school resource officer, Ofc Crafton is there all of the time excluding meetings and has been cooperative and helpful with the administration, parents and kids.The only problem I have is the congestion in the morning and afternoon when school lets out, but that's like that with every school.

I go to this school and I have to say that it's just not right. In the 8th grade, you automatically get the last lunch, which is 1:22 in the afternoon. That's 5 hours since most people eat breakfast, which in kansas, is against the law for people to have to wait longer than four hours.

The Principal seems to only be at the school to make sure we know she's there, even when she doesn't know half of the things that happen. All a cart has been closed for the past week because, in the words of the illustrious Mr. Wright "you will have consequences if you do not clean up after yourselves," and they say they can do this because all a cart is in their words "NEVER considered lunch"

You think, well, it is just junk food--but opposed to their normal lunch, which is frozen yogurt, fried carrots cut to look like french fries, or a tastless chicken... thing, or meat thing, or fish thing, the junk food is okay.

In the class room, the teachers are mostly okay, except the math teachers get to be really strange. Like their entire job is to give us pages of homework every night, then after two months, yell at us when we decide to not do it, because we don't understand the material in the first place.

And it's not just one. My first year in 6th grade, my parents had to fight like dogs to get me out of one class, and into another. In seventh, my teacher (Mrs. Richards) was a decent teacher, and actually knew how to teach school, then this year, I'm not nearly as fortunate...

Sports, we're good at I suppose. We're spending my moms tax money right now on a new track, which we just got redone in 2005.

Safety is nonexistant half the time. Just today I got completely manged in the hallway trying to go from class to class, and at lunch, someone thought it'd be a good idea to throw an open carton of expired milk from the less advanced side of the table, to the more relaxed side of the table. Needless to say somone went up and told Mr. Wright and Mr. Muccaccio, or as they like to think of themselves, the gods of the lunch room.

For homework, you'd expect any student to say there's too much, but in most classes there isn't, except math. Most nights, we get at least 50 problems, and we have to take notes on the next unit.

On top of the "Read 25 books a year" thing they've got going on, which is hard for anyone with a life outside school, it gets pretty rough at night. After school, I go to work until 6 pm, then come home and eat and get downstairs ready to relax at about 7. then I try to spend some time just...not doing something school or work related for once in my day, but at 8 I have to stop whatever I'm doing, and start doing homework until I'm done.

Right now it's 10:55 PM and I'm writing a book report, after doing 42 math problems, and I think I'm goinh to try to read some of my book tomorrow on the ride to school.
