  • Our experience at Rio Vista has been a positive one; undoubtedly, at first, I could not help feeling for my son moving to a bigger campus with classes/periods scheduled. My son's 6th grade teachers were wonderful and supportive of him; the school even offered "1,2,3, Success" after school program that he was able to participate in to improve his math skills. In summary, a fantastic school with a quite receptive and supportive counselor and staff. We were thrilled when my son scored Advanced in his STAR test! His AVID class is a PLUS to have where he is being exposed to the idea of attending a university!

  • This is a great school to go to.The teachers are great and so are the counselors. I would say that the students are very mature and the teachers very nice.It offoers great electives such as AVID,ASB, and art class. Rio Vista Middle School also offers fun fridays onnce or twice a month during lunch time and this is sponsored by the ASB elective class. You can be sure that we students are safe. they have a very safe enviorment and they always welcome new students. We are like a big family where no one is left out. There are lots more reasons why this is a great school but you have to go to find out.

    thank you.
