  • The school is good, the students are learning and the teachers are teaching but the principal needs to get a grip. He does not let the students have any fun or allow them to have any school spirit. All he does is stress test scores and he doesn't let the children have fun while learning. I mean cmon this is high school, you are supposed to have fun, especially your senior year. We can't even have pep rallies, do a newspaper, high school olympics, staff vs student games, update school website, fully dress out for spirit week or even go on field trips. What do we have to look forward to in school? Students need a break from time to time and we need to be rewarded for our good work. Many of the students have complained about not looking forward to coming to school only because of the principal. The students have embraced learning but they are losing their enthusiasm. We think that a new principal would be worthy for the cause. If we had a new principal I think our level of willingness to learn will increase.

  • Well I believe Phoenix have come a long way from when I was in school, now I believer if your child want to learn then the education is there to get but if you a trouble child that just don't want to learn, then that is the parent problem to fix.

  • Due to Hurricane Katrina things happen. It was up to the graduating class, if they wanted to graduate with another school or have their own graduation. It was their choice and they chose their school ground. THINK ABOUT IT! Don't BLAME the students BLAME Katrina!!!!!

  • Phoenix high school should be ashamed of themselves. The students are not learning, the teachers are not teaching, and the principal is not agreeing. The senior class of 2007 is graduating from out of the parking lot at phs. I'M PUTTING IT ON FULL BLAST!
