  • My daughter was in Pinevill Elem. but i was recieved a letter telling me that since Reed scores have changed I had to send LaMaya back to the zoned school and buses were to be canceled at the end of the week. So like most single parents I had to transfer because of work hours. Three weeks have went by and so far I am mad that I even transfered her I should have changed my hours or something. This is what I found out about the school.

    1. They dont let the student check out books.
    2. The teacher reads to them instead of them trying to read to her so she can correct them or show how to sound the word out.

    3. The do not do math or reading every day. Nor do they bring homework in either of these subjects.

    4. The testes on spelling words are not written out they have to pick the right words from a list of four.

5.No , progress report of the week so you can know what is going on in the behavior or if the child needs help in some areas of studies.

    6. Wrote the teacher, still not responds

These are just a few of the things that have pissed me off about this school. The school board should be a shame would you send you child to a school that does not give them the tools to succeed in life well I guess that why your kids dont go to this school but you seem to not care that you made others make their kids go.
