- Basically, Mt Ararat has become a special education magnet school in a failed building that is just plain laughable. Over 25% of the students are special education students and the building's classrooms are open with no walls, windows, or doors. Some departments are really good (English, art) and some are not so good (foreign languages, guidance) and others are so-so. But the building is the biggest problem and has been for many years. Head for Brunswick where the building is new and staff is younger and better paid.
