- When I moved to this area, I looked at the public schools and determined where to buy a house based on Bodkin's strengths. I was impressed with the Blue Ribbon rating and the Green School status right off the bat. The positive atmosphere amongst the teachers and staff working as a team is notable. There are unique programs such as the Character Education program, the link with Arlington Echo-Terrapin, Eel and Meadow project. The parent involvement is amazing, we have a very active PTA and there are a pleathera of volunteers in the building daily. I have 3 children in the school currently and couldn't be happier.
