  • They crammed 30 kids into my son's first grade class when kids that young are supposed to get a lot of attention and instruction from their teacher. That should not have been, why is it other class sizes were 20 but they were stuck with thirty? That does nor make sense.

  • I graduated from Hamilton Elem/Middle School when Mr. Barnes was the principal. I have to say Hamilton gave me memories that I will never forget. From the loving teachers to the unforgettable students, I will never forget it.Throughout the years it has been getting worse, but from my experience there, Hamilton has helped make me the sucessful person I am now.

  • I have been here since kindagarden. I am now in the 8th grade. I think this is an exellent school and it prepares its students for the real world. They dont only have great academic teachings, but are teaching us about life and morals. Really important stuff!

  • I used to go to this school..however I moved after 3rd grade was over (2002-2003). My math skills were terrible and teachers are terrible. This is coming from a student who used to go to this school and now i'm currently a freshman at a different highly educated school that prepares you for college. If I stayed at this school, who knows where I would be. I'd probably be living on the streets still trying to learn what multiplication is.

  • I totally agree with the parent who posted about the eighth grade graduation. It was horrible. Although many of the problems were with the hall and not with the school, it was sad and a little embarrasing. I had actually thought the school year went really well and I think the school itself is great, but the graduation was such a disappointment. When my son graduates in three years I hope it is better.

  • What a sad end and a disaster to the long history of my family graduating from Hamilton 236. Tonight was the last of my five children leaving Hamilton and moving on to H.S. Since I have had four sons and a daughter attend Hamilton it is hare to believe what it has become.

Tonight I attended my girl's graduation. It was the most disorganized chaotic affair I have attended of all of the past graduations that I have attended at Hamilton. The food was at best sub standard. The service was non existent. The hall was an extremely hot AND, the eating arrangement was ridiculous. With every attendee paying $17.00 per ticket you would have thought there would be assigned seating instead of the mad scramble that took place. There was no table service or water pitchers on the tables or coffee or dessert. My daughter and some friends requested their diplomas early and left before the final ceremony. After more than 12 years of my children graduating from Hamilton this final one was a major disappointment and memorable only in the negative sense.
