- We are impressed. This is our second year at Guilford and we are very happy with child's progress. The teachers, staff and parents work very hard and they are very focused on making the learning environment challenging and supporting. We have an older child who went to other schools in Howard County and was very successful. These were good schools, their test scores were actually slightly higher, but when we compare the leraning environment and the opportunities offered to our younger child the learning environment at Guilford is the best we met so far.
