- When I went there, It was called Lakeside, Mrs Flaherty was the principal. She typically was an authoritarian stern style manager, although I never saw her to be unkind in any fashion. She was a classmate of my mothers as well. All the teachers were excellent like Mrs Allen, Mrs Salter, Mrs Wilson, Miss Lampman, Mrs Scott, Mr Armstrong and Mr Bardon, The two MRS Osbornes, Mrs Barry, and all the boys will never forget Mrs Moore! (from Littlerock)WOW! Also Mrs French our science teacher, I must say I loved them all, why they stick with me closer than any other school....I don't know. But we had fun....and recess....and the Plaza was just starting to be built. Kressgees & stop& shop and Files were the only ones open at first. Kids walked home unattended then, except for the patrols (6th graders with a strap and badge) controlled by Mrs Barry. All good memories
