  • This school is pretty fair, yes teachers are not always in a great possitive mood, and on the otherhand who is?? we all have our days, and if students do not cooperate than why should they? I mean they are trying to teach you something, and some dont care to learn... I have met one real mean teacher so far but hey atleast I tried. Not because of that this school's going to be horrible!
And to those who say it has low academics well if you want higher education TAKE AP courses!! duh.
I actually like this school very much!!!
    Gooo KINGS!!!!!!!!!

  • I Grad.. from Kofa Many moons ago. I had great teachers that I was able to look up to. and some. Not. my advise is, keep your chin up. do the best you can, and be respectful. you will reap the benifit. Dont look for the bad in people, we are not perfect. Know who you are, trust in yourself that you can be the best.

  • I am currently a senior at KOFA and all I have to say is that I LOVE it! All of my teachers since freshmen year have been very fair and they have done their best to teach me what I need to learn.and to all of those negative people out there who talk crap about MY school, get the freak out and go somewhere else then, the least thing KOFA needs is more negative students.oh yeah and that goes to all the parents too.just because your kid says it's a living hell doesn't mean it is.maybe he/she needs to cooperate and suck it up.LIFE IS TOUGH! and it only gets harder. The teachers at KOFA do their best.and hey in the end we are only human and we all make mistakes, right? So yeah I have enjoyed my years in KOFA =) I will definitely miss MRS DAMPIER (culinary arts), because of her I was introduced to the ART INSTITUTE OF PHOENIX. By the way my name is Angie Lopez =)

  • I was a student at kofa and it was ok. However now my sister attends to kofa and there is a teacher which I think should not be there, (...), he is a (...) teacher, and is an arrogant person, he is the kind of teacher that thinks he knows everything and takes advantage of his authority, he denied the right to learn to my sister, and that is unlawful, and to be honest he doesn't deserve to be teaching, he keeps callings students immature when he is the most immature person I have ever known.

    PS.
Mrs. Palacios you are an awesome teacher.

  • this school needs to up there academics. if you have a child who is in this school and you move your child would be so far behind. when we moved from OR we had the issue of keep my child from getting board. she was basically repeating everything from the 5th grade. that's not fair to her. when we moved again up to Washington St she was so far behind she had to make up classes. this needs to change. students should not have to suffer for this.

  • I teach proud to say that I teach at Kofa. We have many caring teachers who are there to give our students the education they need and deserve. As with any school, it is not perfect, but the positive outweighs the negative. For example, we have awesome students who actually love being there because they have the right attitude. Having pride in our school is a King Thing!

  • Kofa needs to realize how they mark their consequences! They can't go by hear say and I don't care what they say it just ain't right! And I'm saying this because it has happened to me and plenty of other people!

  • My son has been at this school for ONE day and it has been a total nightmare. Lack of information combined with bad attitude from every staff member I've talked to has made my sons first day of high school a living hell. We are a military family and we do not have options which makes this even sadder. I would not recommend this school to anyone who has an option of going elsewhere.
