  • I am the 1st of 3 generations of women who have had to deal with the pitiful state of U.S. education embodied in the Consentino School.
The Consentino School is a very unhealthy place for children. The general policy for handling extremely smart children is to treat them as square pegs to be forced into round holes and undermine their sense of self and self esteem at every turn.
They profess a zero tolerance policy on violence, but the reality is that they promote violence perpetrated by boys. They work hard at forcing a victim mentality on the girls. When girls who are kicked or hit or otherwise assaulted by young boys complain, they are punished. The boys remain untouched and undisciplined. The children who witness this "teaching" behavior are shown that violent boys are the norm and girls must not try to protect themselves or speak out.
Their teaching staff is mediocre. There is no inspiration, no creativity, and no sign that they truly care about their charges. They seek only to regiment the classroom.
If you have any other option beyond the Consentino, I highly recommend you use it.
