(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - The rating dated 04/28/2010, hit the nail on the head. I have no idea who deemed
the report as inappropriate. It's as honest as the day is long. I wouldn't say there is NO parent involvement, but certainly under 5%. The key to a child succeeding in school is confidence, parent encouragement, parent involvement and exercising your right as a parent to expose your child to as many
positive experiences you can. Whoever wrote the," April," comment obviously is fulfilling their obligations as a parent.
When 90-95% of your parent population
doesn't follow through with making sure their child's homework is completed, or when you offer parent classes and can't muster up anyone to attend, there's a HUGE problem. It amazes me that so many parents have an "I could care less attitude." This is not exclusive to this school, it occurs in most inner cities and could be changed. Apparently not a priority, along with, "things that should have been taught at home," as the other parent stated.

- This school would rock if other parents weren't so awful. There is no parent involvement! If a parent does get off their lazy *** they are their to yell at a teacher who is doing their best to teach their horrible children things they should have learned at home in the first place.
