(2 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - We went to White Pine for 3 months before we decided to remove our son. Because he had difficulty adapting to the very structured environment (of Young 5s -- not even Kindergarten), there was a continuous suggestion that there was something wrong with him. In retrospect, I believe that in part, we as parents were not expecting enough from him, but I also believe that the school failed him. Now that he is attending a new school (with better MEAP scores, by the way), he is doing much better. In fact, his new teacher says he is a stellar student.
