(1 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - This school has so many issues internally it will make your head spin. I highly recommend anyone considering this school to investigate it in-depth. There is no leadership from the (...) at all. It appears his way of dealing with any problems is to toss threats around, suspend/expel kids, and skirt around the issues. In the long run, this does nothing to resolve problems or help prevent them in the future. Instead of suspects being punished, even the victim is punished (again). That is how it works and it happened to another parent who was followed by another parent, harassed on more than one instance on school property by the same parent, and eventually, physically confronted on school property. (...) would not take care of the problem, but rather tossed threats around.
Another thing to consider is the (lack of) chain of command. There is absolutely no information on National Heritage Academy's website on structure and no contact information for anyone other than a generic form that can be submitted. Nobody in school seems to want to give the information on who is above (...) and the main offices simply skirt around the request siting they "Need more information why the information is being requested".
What is the big secret? Ask yourself, before you put your kid in this school, "How easy of a time would I have if I had to go above the (...) head?"
