  • I have loved this school since I attended Kindergarten in September, 1955. The school culture was close knit and nuturing. In fact I went on teaching myself in Detroit Public Schools, but have since retired. I have moved out of State but continue teaching in Delaware. I take the lessons I learned from those teachers with me each day. Many of my classmates have continued to support the school with time and money to continue this tradition. Now I am sad to hear that Holcomb will be closing its doors. I just wanted to let all the teachers at Holcomb to know that you are loved and respected.
