  • I went there in the late 60s and you didnt get away with anything you were there to learn and thats what you did, I thought it was a very good school at the time.It is sad to hear what people are saying about it now has it gone down that bad?

  • I remember when I attended Romulus the teachers at that time were great. All pretty old and needed to retire but pretty layed back. I live in Romulus but I have chosen to send my Child to Woodhaven Schools Becaus of the lack of Discipline the school has.And the fact that other cities ( Inkster & Detroit) Have moved in. When I was at the high school we always had problems with Inkster students in our building.Even my sisters go to woodheven she lives in Romulus also.

  • Maybe back in the day Romulus High School use to be good, back when I graduated (in 02'). Going back to romulus to visit made me sad. It has gone down, a lot of the reason for this is because of more infiltration of people from the urban cities of Inkster and Detroit. More african-americans are now going to school, and because of this, the school has stopped getting the funds it use to once get. VERY sad!

  • this school os HORRIBLE, I go there now ands it is bad. Fights left and right, some teachers do not care, security guards are not doing their jobs. Romulus needs to step it up. THere is no reason for Romulus High to be this ghetto and run down.

  • I am a student at rhs i have been trying my hardest to get some other alternatives to go to another school the teachers are horrible and racist and its not the students its the teachers they treat us like we have no goals and expect us to just sit there and listen to them disrespect us well its high school we have a mouth so we use it another thing is that the teachers hate to be outsmarted we always have to be the dumb kids and the teachers know it all but sorry thats not the way it goes. They are very racist i have a white foster sister she was suspended 33 times and didnt get expelled and i have a black sister she got suspended 23 times and got expelled. The teachers have potty mouths and they expect us students to bow to their feet i am a good student i have never been into any trouble till i got to romulus high school they accused me of cheating on a paper i didnt turn in and i also got kicked out of class for combing my hair. At that school they dont even boost up our self-esteem they treat us like garbage they want us to fell and its horrible i even tryed talking to the board they are just as trashy as the school and teachers.Another thing is that on regular school days they dont care if we show up or not but on count day they want us to be there just so they cant get their money wow thats horrible isnt it and it sucks that i have to deal with this everyday.

  • The resources are there to succeed if you choose to use them. The staff is great and there are many opportunities to take advantage of. I put forth the effort and have a great college scholarship. However, the student body is declining. Discipline is lacking and it doesn't always feel like a safe environment. So many kids take the school for granted and they're bringing the place down.
