  • As a parent of two Springport graduates, I am very confident that this school has improved over the years, and learned from it's shortcomings. This is a very small community, and it tries very hard to improve. One of my graduates is now a teacher in a much larger school system and often remarks on how difficult it must be to not have the funding or the parental help that she receives on a daily basis. This school does all it can to support its students and tries to improve everyday. (In comment to an ear****** rating, my daughter would never give an A to a student unless he or she were in class to receive it. Fair is fair, Don't send a message that it is okay to be missing from school. At some point a pass/fail should come into play. Attendance is everything period. In school and in work. Good lesson.)

  • I feel that this school district has let my son and my family down. My son learned that if you work hard to get good grades and receive honors that the school will take that away from you just because of illness. He was treated unfairly and I feel and so do others that if you earn an A then you should receive that A.
