  • Troy schools were excellent as I went through them:
    Preschool (T.O.T.S.): Morse Elementary
    K-5: Bemis Elementary
    6-8: Boulan Park Middle School
9-12: Troy High School (graduated 2003)
95% of the teachers I had truly cared about educating us as students and putting us in a great position to succeed the next school year (I only got a 3.2GPA at THS, but completed my first SIX semesters at a D-I University on the Dean's List (over a 3.5GPA)).
Please note that in the 2-apples review from below, the parent/guardian blames the CHILDREN for his/her boys bad experience. Are children not the reflections of the relationships we produce out of our own homes? Sir/Madam, I implore you to look at your relationship with your own children. You say that "every day comes another story of threats and name calling". Could your children be highlighting these aspects of their life because they subconsciously know that this is the way to gain your attention? What emotions were you feeling when you decided it was best for them to uproot and attend another school district? Please, for your childrens sake and for your sake, consider reading Breaking Free from the Victim Trap by Diane Zimberoff, M.A.

  • I moved here to put my boys in a better school district. I was sadly mistaken. These students do not welcome new kids, they bully and tease constantly. Although I do like the Teachers and staff, The kids are not supervised on the play grounds. Every day comes another story of threats and name calling. I know that bulling is in every school, but my complaints are not being heard. Its a shame that Troy Schools are the "best" in education, and Fail in discipline and supervision in the safety
