  • Bruce High School was a very good institution the years I attended from 1973 until 1976.

  • I am a proud graduate of Bruce High School.Even though I went through the normal teenage dramas of High School, I can still say that my years at BHS was the best, and therefore I am proud to have a daughter that will be a Bruce Trojan!

  • My daughter has never walked a day in her life, uses an electric wheel chair and has a personal aide that helps her at school.
My daughter so excited that this is her senior year, class rings, announcements ect. Anxious to get her graduation package April 1st from Balfour. A fellow classmate, who I might add is single mother of 2, stole my daughters invitations from her locker. At this point now on April 20th nothing has been done and my child has no invitations to send out to announce her graduation. She has been in the school system since age 3 and finally comes to the end with no graduation announcements.

We have come through a lot of difficulties in this school system issues involving appropriate behavior from caregivers towards students with disabilities.
I myself was a bus driver for disabled students and heard many unkind things re: disabled students.
On the other hand she has enjoyed her last 3 years of high school but excited to graduate. Now a bummer theft of her initiations with no punishment or retribution of items stolen.

  • I am proud that I graduated from Bruce High School. There is something special about a small town school where everybody knows and cares for each other. The Teachers really have the students best interest at heart. After serving my country in the USAF, I am glad to be able to send my kids to Bruce Schools. We are excited that we reached level 5 at BHS this year. Go Trojans! My son is #61 on the football team.

  • I grew up in Bruce and was sick when I had to move away but I still made some of my life long friends in Bruce High and will always remember them all and the teachers are really inspirational and treat you like a valuable human being. I love BRUCE and hate that I can't graduate from there next year!!
