  • I have to admit how this school has lowered it's standard of excellent teachers. I am a former student to Threadgill and when I was there 20 years ago, the teachers were highly qualified teachers. I would like to thank those teachers who made a great influence in my life as an Attorney with a Chicago Law firm. Although I attended Memphis State University class of 96 and went of to Havard law school, I would like to address that my most encouraging success came from my elementary teachers at Threadgill. I have nothing against Valley because I have family members who attended there, but I must say their is a difference in the level of instructing than most Universities. Maybe Valley should become more competitive in their academics programs and how they are lectured. Just a suggestion.

  • Threadgill Elementary used to be a school were teachers were effective, now this school has nothing but unqualified, individuals who are bringing more harm to the students learning and their own. I truly blame Mississippi Valley State for such a disaster. The teachers are not equipment for classroom assessment. Maybe valley needs to reevaluate their TEP! My son went their and was labeled as a honor student, but when we moved to Texas, his grade level was far below his class. I really feel sorry for the parents who allow their children to be taught by such under experience teachers who do not know the basic teaching skills, because of the institution they got their learning from. Maybe Valley needs to step up to the plate like other Universities, Florida state, University of Texas, Georgia state, Clark University, University of Memphis, University of Mississippi, and many others they are welled highly qualified universities in the south!
