(3 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - I also went to Pemberton Twp High Schools and there were not gangs back then, but yes it was rivals between different neighborhoods and they had names for each gang of kids from those neighborhoods.... That would also be considered gangs, but now days kids take it to a high level..... Weapons and what not..... No teachers are 2nd to teach examples to children, but it should start in the homes of our children....

(4 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - I AM A FORMER STUDENT OF PTHS AND WHEN I ATTENDED IT WAS NO GANG MEMBERS AND IT WAS A GREAT SCHOOL.....I WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT ABOUT THE STATEMENT LEFT BY A PARENT STATING THAT THE BLACK TEACHERS SHOULD SET AN EXAMPLE FOR THE GANG MEMBERS....THAT IS A VERY RACIST STATEMENT...ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY ALL GANG MEMBERS ARE BLACK? IN MY OPINION ALL TEACHERS, BLACK,WHITE,RED OR GREEN SHOULD SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR THE STUDENTS. YOU ARE MAKING IT SEEM LIKE BECAUSE OF THE BLACK TEACHERS THAT'S WHY PTHS HAS GANG MEMBERS? GROW UP AND GET A LIFE.
