  • MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE ONLY TWO TEACHERS MY SON HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO IN THE FIRST AND FOURTH GRADE, RESPECTIVELY, HAVE BEEN FAR FROM PROFESSIONAL, FORTHCOMING AND CONCERNED. THE KEY WORDS THAT BEST DESCRIBE THESE INDIVIDUAL IS MEDIOCRITY AND COMPLACENCY. IT IS VERY SAD THAT THESE TWO WOMEN HAVE CHOSEN TO BEGIN THEIR RETIREMENT FROM TEACHING WHILE IN THE CLASSROOM SURROUNDED BY CHILDREN THAT REMAIN EAGER TO LEARN. I CAN GO ON, BUT CHOOSE NOT TO BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE THAT I CAN REPORT ABOUT THESE FACULTY MEMBERS. PERHAPS ADMINISTRATION SHOULD PROHIBIT THE USE OF 10-YEAR-OLD LESSON PLANS IN TEACHING OUR CHILDREN LESSONS FOR TODAY WITH THE "burned out" BRAINS OF YESTERYEAR!
