(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - I've had children in ABES since 2005 and the school has changed very much over the years. It has lost some of its core values over time. It is becoming closer and closer to traditional school as each year passes. In comparison to other schools academically they could probably do much better. I also have found your experience will depend on the teacher your child has. I have had some teachers a little too involved often too involved telling you for example; what you need to pack your child for lunch. The best part is that they encourage parent involvement and they expose the children to a great deal more than traditional public school.

- I have a Third Grader as well as a Kindergartener this year, we love the school and feel like it gets better every year! They have some very innovative ideas and keep students from feeling bored.

- My son is in his fourth year here, and I am constantly impressed with everything about the school. This is the way schools should be.
