  • This is the better of the West and North. Their JROTC department though is not the greatest but they have a new instructor working his hardest to get the program back on track.

  • In my opinion they take the no child left behind too far. There are students that are 20 years old still trying to finish high school. My daughter has been trying to make up an english class she "failed" and I can't get her inrolled in summer school to take it or even get her couselor to return my calls. Find another school fro your child.

  • I am former student and forever SBHS COUGAR! I ,like most teenagers, lived it up in high school. It was the easiest times of my life... Now that my 10 year reunion is coming up I felt I needed to reflect on all the memories. Homecoming, pep rallies and of course prom. Your experance in school is only what you make of it and this holds very true in life also. I like the changes and growth the school has had since I graduated and hope to see it continue to flourish! With that said keep your head up Cougars and rock on class of 1998!!!!

  • I think that the school is ok. i do go to this school. i would much rather go to a different school though. when i am here i always think that the school is more worried about the drama that is going on than worrying about the knowlege some of the students are not getting. at this school we are "mouth brunswick" because everyone has something to say about everyone else. A lot of the students here say that they will beat so and so up, but they never do anything. all of the teachers know that too, so why be worried about. i do not like this school at all! and one more that really gets on my nerves is that some of the teachers at south don't really worry about what students do until the very end of the year. such as letting people sleep in class, and listening to i pods, if they care about their job like they should then they would enforce the rules when they first acknowledging them.
