  • I think Riverwood MS is an ok school but my son has been suspended off the school bus for 9 days and I have been taken him to school for 5 days and picking him up for 4 days and that has been around 6 pm. Yesterday they notice my son getting picked up around 6 pm after 4 days of me picking him up around 6 pm and by the time I pick him up he is sitting on the front steps of the Riverwood Middle School? Now the Social Worker from the school has called my job and stated to me that I need to make other arrangements to have my son picked up after school? and by who? I explain I am a single mom working in Wilson with no family members near by? almost an hour away?? My point now after 4 days something is being said? and the new Administrator states they wouldn't want nothing to happen to him on school grounds ie: getting kidnap? so my suggestion to the school is to let him wait across the street...yeah that will be more safe than the school grounds. Thanks

  • Riverwood is a okay school however I think that teacher and parents should have closer ties to one another.
