- I have been at myers park for my 4th year and this school is not what people believe it to be

(Rating: 5 / 5) Report As Inapropriate - I am a student here at Myers Park and I would like to virtually give all of the staff and faculty there a pat on the back. I started ninth grade last year, not knowing what to expect. From what I heard high school was this big scary place where all the teachers are mean...that was not the case with MPHS. the teachers are very welcoming and caring. Most of them strive to be better leaders for their students. Personally, MPHS is a home away from home if you will. Its a place where I can go and be whoever I want to be, different from my other life around family.

- This school gives opportunities that are not offered at other schools. I love that teachers and staff EXPECT that the students are going on to college and that they encourage and help prepare them for it.
