  • As a former student of Royal Oak from September 2002 to June 2004, I can say that it's horrible. Many of the students there are completely out of control and it seems the staff and security (that is if they still HAVE security) are unable to handle the children. Machoism is constant and fights are always starting. The overall atmosphere is unpleasant. Don't bother sending your child there.

  • I have to say I'm very disappointed. My daughter attended this school until just recently. She had a problem with one of the students who was just a terrible bully and brought it to their attention and reprehended both students my daughter and the bully. Needless to say three months passed and the situation just got worse; to a point that my daughter ended up getting attacked ( bullied ) in the girls bathroom by the bully and her two other follower friends.....next day pulled her out of ROIS. Staff knew about the conflict but chose to ignore the problem, just wish they paid attention to little problems before they expand. Maybe this comment will help another kid who will be bullied in this school.
