  • Teachers seem to b great. But not real sure if the principal belongs here. He seems to be very judemental. And I think he thinks he's a sychologist for children.

  • I'm a 7th grader ay CJH and I think it's a nice school. THe teacher's are nice, and explain things to the bst of their abilities. My math teacher gives the chance to stay after school on most most weds. to help bring grades up and multiple other teacher's allow tutoring. The children that I have met are pretty nice, we all have our set backs and personality problems. BUt the majority of the time, most of them are nice enough. THe bath room's are dirty, and the hallway's can get crowded. BUt it's a small town, we aren't rich and I think we should be happy to have money for things we need-like the Tech. Ed. class, and the different sports teams, and the other school-related things that the school funds for.
The principle and vice-principle are good at their jobs from my point of view and all in all, I'm the happiest at CJH then any other school I've been in.

  • I'm a 7th grader at Coweta JHS and it's not that bad well sure the bathrooms are nasty and the hallways could be a little bigger, but at least it isn't like last year at the MIGC I mean that was a crowded hallway! If there is any drug problems I can't see it in the halls or anything. The JHS is where I go to school and learn and I've learned alot I'm not the shapest blad in the grass but I'm pretty smart, I have my family there my friends and teachers. I love going to school and learning there I don't really care about how bad everyone else thinks it is but from how I see it that's a wonderful school to go to I don't feel pressured or uncomfortable I feel at home and having fun. I reall ydo think the JHS is a great place to learn.

  • I am now a 10th grade studnt going o Coweta high school i previously went to the Junior high and believe it to bea fairly nice school for such s small district. while it is true the hallways were small and a bit overcrowded the teachers i beleive were very good especially the art and math teachers. Also concering the problem of overcrowding the school has fixed that by creating a i-high or 9th grade center which has really helped with that problem. All in all i beleive COweta schools to be a small town school that trys it's best to do the best for all students in the district.

  • i am going to this school as an 8th grader. the teachers dont explain things like they are supposed to, the hallways are small, and the kids that go there are rude and disrespectful.

  • I think more parents need to get involved in their childs' education, at home and at school. Parents need to take an interest and get involved! The percentage of parents attending parent/teacher conferences at Jenks Middle School was 85%; at Coweta Junior High it was 57%. Everything starts with parents!

  • I am attending CJH in the 08-09 year & i'm not too pleased with it. The principal is lazy; the students sell & trade drugs in the halls & classes & in front of the staff & are not punished. The teachers are nice & all, but they do show favoritism between students & will wait until the last minute to contact parents if they should. i'm not pleased with my school.

  • I think the school district, particularly its teachers, do a very poor job of keeping parents informed of student progress. The parents of ADHD children need teachers to work with them and keep them informed of homework and behavioral matters. Coweta teachers don't care and have no desire to help the parents or the children of ADHD. I am removing my child from Coweta Schools completely due to the lack of support and willingness to cooperate to help me help my child through school. I've had enough.
