  • the middle school sucks. the ones in authority bullied my daughters in class and treated them like dirt. when my daughters were being bullied by a student, the ones in authority (teachers, vice principal and principal) blamed my kids which is NOT ACCEPTABLE. they do not allow the children to call their parents about something that happened and tell them "your mom is not in charge here, i am". well, considering my kids are in that school, i have a say in what happens to them. when i tried to call the school and speak with the principal, he blew me off and wouldn't take or return any of my phone calls until i got www.oksafecall.com involved. USE IT! it's amazing how quickly that school wants to take care of the problem when safe call is involved! if you have to put ur kids there, i suggest you find the Students and Parents Rights, fill it out, and either take it to them or have it sent certified mail to ensure they receive it.

the dress code sucks, especially for girls. we all know how crappy it is to wear khaki during certain times of the month!

my oldest is going to high school, but my other daughter is in 7th, but i will not send her back to the school and my son won't be attending middle school either in 3 yrs. i found a great alternative online and she begins k12 very soon! might give it a try and see if it's for u and ur kids

  • The one thing about all schools is that they are more concerned about sports (football, cheer leading, ect.) that they don't focus that same attention on education. Some kids are more talented in some areas than others. The purpose of SCHOOL is education, not sports. Some parents might disagree with me and think "well my kid does great in both areas" And that is great but the bottom line is SCHOOL is a place of learning academics not some sports boot camp. Kids are being left behind because "no one notices" I remember when I was in Middle School, I was a C average student (not so good). It took only that 1 person to give me that inspiration to focus more on school. I was a honor roll student ever since. Since Wagoner has awesome coaches, hmmm? Why don't they use their talented words to inspire (coach) kids to focus more on education.....

  • Obviously the people who should be reading these reviews are the ones that don't or someone but out of a job. I am not against uniforms. I actually like the uniform options at the 2 elementary schools, but only 2 color choices is two restraining. The principles at the middle school and the school board are VERY aware of the complaints about the school. Complaints are numerous, often, and been lodged for years.
Nothing will change until the current principle retires. He has some great teachers. I thank them for sticking out in such a hostile environment. He also has some losers, but is unaware, or unwilling, to call them in and try to straighten it out. The school is joked about by those no longer having a student there and the subject of hostile conversations by those still stuck there. I don't recommend it if you have a choice.

  • I do not agree with the dress code dress codes do not help i am positive there have been just as many fights as any other time with or without dress codes. Making the kids look exactly alike does not help at all it doesn't let them show there personality. I am sure just as many schools have more threats and more fights and don't have dress code at all. I do not recommend this school to anyone unless you like your kids to be miserable.

  • I am outraged that the school board voted to change the time students have to be there in the middle of the school year.school doesn't start until 8:25 but students are tardy if they are there after 8:00.it is unfair to both parents and students that detention has to be served for students unless they arrive at school 20 mins before it starts I have other children to drop off at 2 others schools and it is impossible to get them all there on time
what was the board thinking they must not have children attending the middle school

  • This school has some real problems. Students are assaulting other students. There are numerous fights taking place, weapons being brought to school. Emotional and Physical bulling going on and those in authority seems to think these are isolated incidents and won't happend again. This has been going on for over two years that I know of and maybe longer. Parents are furious and asking the school board to get security in the school but those in authority don't want it. If you are considering sending your child to this school please pick up a Wagoner Newspaper, talk to parents not school personel and find out what is going on, protect your child by NOT choosing this school!
