  • Wonderful, patient, loving staff. I've always felt so welcome and my kids love the school. My child's first grade teacher went above and beyond anything expected. Very impressive!

  • There is no PE at this school and the teachers take away the break time for running over very stupid things.
Not a single person there cares that the kids lack physical activity. My biggest problem with this issue is the teachers actually expect the kids to behave very well without getting the physical activity out during their break. So why do you think the break for running was ever put into the school system in the first place?
The other issue is that the bullies are not dealt with properly, causing them to be bullies all the longer. The school actually tried to give my son the assigned seat on the bus to solve one of the problems, when it was three boys who were bigger than mine that were holding him down while the others beat on him. The problems don't end there either. While on the play ground, they listen to the children even if they are proven to be problem kids, or problem causers. Then they will take the other child and give him time out. I found that my child was having time out when the other child was not telling the truth about something that had happened. Then didn't even listen to my child trying to tell them that the other child was kicking him repeatedly. I spent one year trying to deal with the bullies. In and out of the school almost every day after school and calling didn't work. My husband and I actually had to bring a tape recorder into a meeting with the principal. This was the last straw. All year of us going in after school and calling constantly did nothing. The hardships for my son still went on. I refused to leave until I had a chance to talk to the other boys parent. I soon found out that after all that year, the principal had NEVER even called the bullies parents to discuss the problem. This is a sick way to welcome a child to a school. In my opinion the school lacks all things that would make school enjoyable. Before this school my son loved school. Now he feels sick to his stomach just before the bus gets here to pick him up. I mentioned this to the principal and she acted like she didn't even hear it. There is no respect for the students at the school, or their feelings or the fact that they are scared to go. I am moving out of the state to make sure my youngest son will not go to this horrible school. I have had enough and I don't even go to the school.
