  • I am a student here at fairview in 6th grade. So far 6th grade is really fun. All of my school carrer here has been pretty good. I may have had a couple issues with teachers, homework, etc. but really fairview is a great school. We may have to do a lot of home work, but it will all be worth it sometime. Over all fairview is a great school! Also, the 6th grade teachers are soooooo awesome and my homeroom teacher is REALLY awesome.

  • I am a parent of a second grader at this school and also graduated from the Crestwood District and if given a choice, I wouldn't send my dog to these schools in Mountaintop. These stuck up snobby teachers and principals don't care anything about our children learning. And the school board only cares if they are rated one of the top schools. We now don't even have the choice of getting a paper report card sent home. So you parents out there who don't have access to a computer, I guess that's your tough luck you won't even be able to know how your own children are doing in school! But, boy these schools sure do waste the paper to make sure the PTA forms are sent home on the first day of school. I guess we know what the priorities are here, don't we? Every day is more clear why so many children are being home schooled, today.

  • I am a parent of a second grader and also a graduate of the Crestwood School District and I wouldn't recommend sending your dog to these schools in Mountaintop, let alone your children. These stuck up snobby teachers and principals think they are all it and more. This District only cares about if they are one of the top schools, not about our children learning anything. We as parents can't even get a simple paper report card sent home but they sure send home that PTA packet the first day of school. Talk about priorities!

  • So far so good, my son seems to be enjoying his kindergarten experience, but I think he has to much homework.

  • I am a parent of a student at this school. The teachers are very unprofessional in the manner in which they deal with students. Yelling at them, not having the patience to handle questions from a their students. Their teaching styles are so obscure that their student have difficulty understanding the material. My daughters 4th grade teacher really made my daughter feel as though she was never able to ask for clear directions without getting yelled at and belittled in class. This really hurt her emotionally. They all need to go back to school to learn how to best teach students with multi-level learning styles and to be human. If I had another choice...she would be taken out of that school...but I hear that rice is worse.

  • I am a student of Fairview Elementary School, and I just wanted to say it's a B+ school. The thing is...that if you tell the principal what happened on the bus,school,etc...he doesn't do anything about it!
