  • I graduated from Gidley in 1973. I loved it. I was in the pilot program that Mrs. Welch sponsored for Los Profesores. I was a co-winner of the Fisher/Turner award too. I will always look back on Gidley with the greatest memories. It was hard work: Mrs. Cook was tough, Mrs. Welch was tough. However I learned tons. Thank you teachers and staff.

  • I was at Gidley for last half of 6th grade and all through 7th & 8th...'74-'76. I was in the Bicentennial graduating class. Mrs. Welch was my home room teacher. I actually have many mixed memories of Gidley...but I was a teenager. My first real boyfriend was here, and so was my first real heartbreak. I remember my mom almost hitting one teacher...6th gr...for throwing away an assignment of mine because she thought it wasnt long enough...so she made me rewrite it...then threw it away. WOW! Class of '76...woooo!

  • I didn't graduate from there but,I wished I had.You all were great and I just wanted to say,Thank You.I met a science teacher that started the drive in me to want to learn. And best friends that were good to me.I think it was the environment.
