  • The faculty and staff of this school sorely lack communication skills. I have been trying to reach the school's Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program Coordinator for almost two weeks now. I have left messages and she refuses to return my phone calls. According to the bakc of the Lunch Program application, my salary falls within the range of qualifying for my daughter to receive free lunch, yet she has to pay for her lunch, plus I have yet to receive my copy of the application in the mail, indicating approval, as I have in prior years of her school life. No wonder minority kids are lacking in quality education.

  • This school is very poorly organized. The only time they follow their own policy is when then are disciplining a student, which they seem to enjoy doing. You never receive return phone calls. They should be made to read and sign their own paperwork regarding policies and procedures and submit copies to the parents.

  • My son is a sophomore at Penn Wood, in September a number of teachers quit. In one year, one teacher lost his test, another teacher calculated his report card grade incorrectly, he does not know the principle. One teacher even advised that if this were her son she would transfer him out. This school is very mismanaged.
