- I was a former student at Ella Risk School back in the 1960s. I went for a walk through the school yesterday, November 16, 2006 and couldn't believe how beautiful the school is. The classrooms were bright and positive. The school has a gym and a library and new computers! There is a language class to teach children to speak English. One of the teachers I met yesterday went to Ella Risk Shool with me in the 60s. All the teachers I met were bright and cheery, the classrooms were filled with happiness. As I walked around the school with the principal (Dan Davis) a wonderful principal, I could feel the positve energy in the air and between the students and Dan. The students were happy and smiling.The classrooms are filled with bright colored pictures and the halls are filled with photographs of the children and posters of current events. The children are putting together baskets for Thanksgiving to help the needy. The children at Ella Risk School are exposed to an excellent education. Ella Risk School is a great school with wonderful a principal and good teachers!
