  • This school has a safe environment. It also offers many AP courses, which help you get college credit. The "small schools" system at the school can help your child "major" in their interests. The four small schools are Freshman Academy, which all Freshman are a part of, then they have ACT, or Arts, Communication, and Technology. In ACT they have Visual Arts Classes, Computer Classes, Engineering Classes, Dance, Voices, and Drama Classes. Another small school is HP or Health Professions, they offer many science and medical courses. The third is IS or International Studies. They offer Psychology classes, Religion classes, and they also have the most AP courses to take. The teachers here are majorly very nice and the principal, Dr. Durbin, is very personable. One of the cons to Beaufort High would be that it is a little crowded. It's an overall good school, as long as you do well. :)
