Hi i'm angel and h'm a student at rc edwards...we have awesome teachers.....yes some of them are tough,but hey that's what makes a good teacher.am i right?Our school has very smart students, teachers, and other staff members.Our school is very neat and satisfying. This school does a decent job of teaching normal classes, but for the gifted and talented class the children are not at all challenged. They are just given more easy work. I, being in that class myself, see no point in the school doing this. Also, the pep rallies are exactly the same everytime. This is not at all interseting or fun and it does not fulfill the main purpose of a peprally. This is a forced waste of time that could be used for learning. If a child is at school on the day of a peprally he/she must attend. All the students appreciate the recent steps against bullying, but many still are too intimidated to speak to an adult about it in fear of the bully getting some "revenge". I think this school should promote others children stepping up for their friends or anyone they see being bullied and nothing done about it so the "anonimous" bullying will cease to exist. All things considered curiculum wise, this is a very rich place for learning and has more good things than faults.

My little brother, Timmy Parker, a 7th grade student at RC Edwards says that he likes this school pretty well. However there is a couple of problems. First, he says that every day when he gets off the bus at school there is at least one fight going on and nothing is done about it. I think that there should be more supervision at the bus get-off point. If there is already supervision there, then there needs to be more discipline for those who engage in fighting. This is not safe for one thing, and also it is not fair to the students who get disciplined for lesser things. Second, Timmy Parker is in Mrs. Clark and Mr. Bailey's PE class and he says that they are required to run first before they do stretches. This is not safe for any of the students and I know my brother has come home with pulled muscles on several occasions. You may want to check into this because if a students gets hurt badly enough, this may lead to a lawsuit. I am not threatening anyone I just think that these things are serious enough to check into. I understand that there are a lot of students and that it is hard to have eyes everywhere all the time, I am just requesting that these two things be checked into as soon as possible. Thank you.
