  • The rating is 1 out of 5 because my child did not get killed at the school, but acts of violence are tolerated as well as treated unfairly. I will not recomment anyone to send their child to this school unless they wanted a baby sitter while they're at work. From what I've seen and heard, Crump produced high test scores, that's good, but the social skills, humiliation, neglect and hostility is over-bearing. There is no need to speak with the principal because he told me first hand that he would rather the parent and the teacher to work out any conflict because he is disconnected from what goes on within the class. My child's 2nd grade teacher use to write him up because he would 'think' he is repeating what the teacher calls the students, 'busters' and another child accused my child of say buster bas****, my child has never heard that word in the home, but the teacher has called the students that. This school overall really gets a 40 out of 100. The teachers have been involved, but most of them are impatient, short-fused and only there to make a check to pay bills. Homework is good. I use to fear for my child's safety at this school but all I can do is pray that God shields my child and cover him from any physical or spiritual wickedness. I didnt' even bother about writing to the board of education because I can't even trust them to allocate or distribute funds that I invest in the school, appropriately. I can't afford private schools because I am told that they're allowing drug dealers, gang members, child molestors and inappropriate exposure to the students. I can't home school because I am the breadwinner of the family. What can I do? Where is my support? i am a single mom, with her hands tied. Where are the people who REALLY cares? I am ready to see some positive action.

  • THE LEADERSHIP AT THIS SCHOOL IS NOT SO GOOD. THERE IS SO MUCH TO WRITE BUT I AM EXHAUSTED FROM TRYING TO GET TO THE PRINCIPAL, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL OR STAFF. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY EXCEPT THIS SCHOOL SHOULD BE CLOSED BECAUSE I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS MY CHILD. EVERYTIME I WOULD HAVE A CONFERENCE WITH THE PRINCIPAL HE WOULD PROMISE TO MAKE CHANGES HERE AND THERE, BUT THE ONLY CHANGE HE MADE WAS MOVED MY CHILD TO A DIFFERENT TEACHER'S CLASS BUT HE DID NOT FOLLOW UP TO FIND OUT HOW THINGS WERE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE, AND ANYWHERE ELSE I CAN WRITE A REVIEW I WILL BE DOING IT - THANKS, A VERY DISGRUNTLED PARENT.
